  • Disconnect the negative (-) battery terminal first, followed by the positive (+) terminal.
  • Use a battery terminal cleaner to remove any corrosion from the terminals and cable ends.
  • Reconnect the positive terminal first, then the negative terminal, ensuring a tight fit.
3. Test and Replace the Battery (if necessary)
  • If the battery voltage is below 12.4 volts, recharge or replace the battery.

    • Remove the battery hold-down bracket using a socket set.
