Solution
1. Preparation
  • Gather necessary tools and parts. Ensure the vehicle is parked on a level surface.
  • Disconnect the negative battery cable to prevent electrical issues during repairs.
2. Clean the Throttle Body
  • Remove the air intake duct to access the throttle body.
  • Use throttle body cleaner and a soft cloth to clean the inside of the throttle body.
  • Reinstall the air intake duct securely.
3. Inspect and Clean the MAF Sensor
  • Locate the MAF sensor along the air intake path.
  • Disconnect the MAF sensor connector.
  • Use MAF sensor cleaner to spray the sensor and allow it to dry before reconnecting.
4. Test and Replace Fuel Filter (if necessary)
  • Locate the fuel filter along the fuel line.
  • If the fuel pressure test indicated low pressure, replace the fuel filter according to the manufacturer's specifications.
  • Ensure to relieve fuel system pressure before replacing the filter.
5. Inspect Ignition System
  • Remove spark plugs and inspect for wear or carbon buildup.
  • Replace any worn or damaged spark plugs with OEM parts.
  • Test ignition coils with a multimeter; replace if they do not meet specifications.
6. Check Transmission Fluid
  • Locate the transmission fluid dipstick and remove it.
  • Check fluid level and condition; if low or burnt, drain and replace with the manufacturer-recommended fluid.
  • Recheck the fluid level after replacement.
