1. Preparation

• Gather necessary tools and parts.
• Disconnect the battery to ensure safety during the repair process.
• Allow the engine to cool before starting.

2. Clean or Replace Air Filter

• Locate the air filter housing and remove the cover.
• Take out the air filter and inspect it for dirt and debris.
• If dirty, clean with compressed air or replace with a new filter.
• Reinstall the air filter and secure the housing cover.

3. Check and Replace Fuel Filter

• Locate the fuel filter in the fuel line.
• Using a wrench, disconnect the fuel lines from the filter (ensure to have a rag for fuel spillage).
• Remove the old fuel filter and install the new filter, ensuring the flow direction is correct.
• Reconnect the fuel lines and check for leaks.

4. Inspect and Replace Spark Plugs

• Remove the ignition coil or spark plug wires.
• Use a spark plug socket to remove the spark plugs.
• Inspect the plugs for wear or fouling; replace if necessary with OEM standard plugs.
• Reinstall the spark plugs and reconnect the ignition coils or wires.

5. Clean Throttle Body

• Remove the air intake duct to access the throttle body.
• Using throttle body cleaner and a clean cloth, carefully clean the throttle plate and surrounding areas.
