Solution
1. Preparation
  • Gather all tools and parts needed.
  • Disconnect the battery negative terminal to ensure safety.
  • Allow the engine to cool down if it has been running.
2. Replace Faulty Components
  • Spark Plugs:

    • Remove the ignition coils using a socket wrench.
    • Unscrew and remove the old spark plugs with a spark plug socket.
    • Inspect and replace with new spark plugs, ensuring they are gapped correctly.
    • Reinstall the ignition coils and reconnect connectors.
  • Fuel Injectors:

    • Relieve the fuel system pressure by removing the fuel pump fuse and starting the engine until it stalls.
    • Disconnect the fuel lines using a line removal tool.
    • Remove the old fuel injectors from the fuel rail by unclipping and unscrewing them.
    • Install new fuel injectors with new O-rings and reattach the fuel lines.
3. Inspect and Clean
  • Air Filter:

    • Remove the air filter housing cover.
    • Take out the air filter and inspect it for dirt and blockages.
    • Clean or replace the air filter as needed.
    • Reassemble the air filter housing.
  • Throttle Body:

    • Disconnect the throttle body connector and intake duct.
    • Clean the throttle body with throttle body cleaner and a soft cloth to remove carbon buildup.
    • Reconnect the intake duct and throttle body connector.
4. Reconnect Battery and Test
  • Reconnect the negative battery terminal.
  • Start the engine and check for smooth operation.
  • Monitor the check engine light to see if it remains off after repairs.
