Solution
1. Preparation
  • Tools Required: Wrench set, brake bleeder kit, jack and jack stands, brake fluid, clean rags.
  • Ensure the vehicle is parked on a level surface, and the engine is off.
  • Wear safety goggles and gloves.
2. Check and Refill Brake Fluid
  • Locate the brake fluid reservoir.
  • If the fluid is low, top it off with the manufacturer-recommended brake fluid (DOT 3 or DOT 4 as specified).
  • Inspect the fluid for contamination; if cloudy or dark, it should be replaced.
3. Bleed the Brake System
  • Tools Required: Brake bleeder kit, clear tubing, container for catching old fluid.
  • Start at the wheel farthest from the master cylinder (usually the right rear).
    1. Attach the clear tubing to the bleeder valve on the brake caliper.
    2. Have an assistant press the brake pedal several times and hold it down.
    3. Open the bleeder valve to release fluid and air, then close it before the pedal is released.
    4. Repeat this process until only clean brake fluid flows out of the tubing.
    5. Move to the next wheel in the order: right rear, left rear, right front, left front.
