3. Inspect and Replace Thermostat
  1. Remove the Thermostat:
    • Drain coolant below the thermostat level.
    • Disconnect the thermostat housing bolts using a socket set.
    • Remove the thermostat from the engine.
  2. Install New Thermostat:
    • Place a new gasket on the thermostat housing.
    • Install the new thermostat in the correct orientation.
