Solution
1. Preparation
  • Ensure the vehicle is parked on a level surface.
  • Have the ignition key or key fob ready.
2. Turn the Ignition On
  • Insert the key into the ignition or press the start button without pressing the brake pedal.
  • Turn the key to the "ON" position (or press the start button) to illuminate the dashboard lights without starting the engine.
3. Access the Trip Meter
  • Locate the trip meter button on the dashboard, typically found near the speedometer.
  • Press the trip meter button until "Trip A" is displayed.
4. Reset the Maintenance Light
  • While "Trip A" is displayed, turn the ignition off.
  • Press and hold the trip meter button.
  • While holding the button, turn the ignition back to the "ON" position (do not start the engine).
  • Continue holding the button until the maintenance light resets (approximately 10 seconds), and you will see the light blink and then turn off.
5. Finalize
  • Release the trip meter button.
  • Turn off the ignition and then turn it back on to verify that the maintenance light is no longer illuminated.
