Solution
1. Preparation
  • Tools Required:
    • Multimeter
    • Socket set
    • Screwdrivers
    • Replacement fuses
    • Replacement bulbs (if needed)
  • Disconnect the negative battery terminal to ensure safety during repairs.
2. Check and Replace Fuses
  • Locate the fuse box under the dashboard or in the engine compartment.
  • Identify the headlight fuse using the diagram on the fuse box cover.
  • Remove the fuse using a fuse puller or pliers.
  • Inspect the fuse for continuity using a multimeter; replace it if blown.
  • Reinstall the new fuse and reconnect the battery.
3. Inspect and Replace Headlight Relay
  • Locate the headlight relay in the fuse box.
  • Remove the relay by pulling it straight out.
  • Test the relay with a multimeter to ensure it is functioning.
  • If defective, replace it with a new relay of the same specifications.
4. Replace Headlight Bulbs
  • Open the hood and remove the headlight assembly if necessary for better access.
  • Disconnect the electrical connector from the bulb.
  • Remove the bulb retaining clip and take out the old bulb.
  • Insert the new bulb (ensure not to touch the glass with bare hands) and secure it with the retaining clip.
  • Reconnect the electrical connector.
5. Inspect Wiring Connections
  • Trace the wiring harness leading to the headlights.
  • Look for signs of wear, fraying, or corrosion.
  • Clean any corroded connectors and ensure all connections are secure.
