Solution
1. Preparation
  • Gather necessary tools: key fob, owner's manual (if needed).
  • Ensure the vehicle is parked on a level surface and in "Park" mode.
2. Reset the Oil Light
  1. Insert the key fob into the ignition (or press the start button without pressing the brake pedal) to turn the vehicle to the "ON" position.
  2. Press the "ODO/TRIP" button on the instrument cluster until the odometer display shows the total mileage.
  3. Turn the ignition off.
  4. While holding the "ODO/TRIP" button, turn the ignition back to the "ON" position.
  5. Continue holding the button for approximately 10 seconds until the oil light blinks and then turns off.
  6. Release the "ODO/TRIP" button.
