Solution
1. Preparation
  • Gather tools including a jack and jack stands, lug wrench, socket set, and a torque wrench.
  • Wear safety goggles and gloves for protection.
2. Remove Wheel
  1. Loosen lug nuts slightly while the vehicle is on the ground.
  2. Use the jack to lift the vehicle and secure it with jack stands.
  3. Remove the lug nuts completely and take off the wheel.
3. Inspect and Replace Brake Pads
  1. Check brake pad thickness; if below 3mm, replace the pads.
  2. If needed, remove the caliper by unbolting it using a socket wrench.
  3. Slide out the old brake pads from the caliper bracket.
  4. Apply brake grease to the back of the new brake pads to reduce noise.
