1. Preparation

    • Fuel line disconnect tool

    • Relieve fuel pressure by removing the fuel pump fuse and starting the engine until it stalls.
2. Remove Engine Cover
  • Remove the engine cover by unscrewing the bolts or clips that secure it.
  • Carefully lift the cover off and set it aside.
3. Disconnect Fuel Lines
  • Use a fuel line disconnect tool to detach the fuel lines from the fuel rail.
  • Have a rag handy to catch any fuel that may spill during this process.
4. Remove Electrical Connectors
  • Carefully disconnect the electrical connectors from each fuel injector.
