Solution
1. Preparation
  • Gather necessary tools: fuse puller or needle-nose pliers, multimeter.
  • Ensure the vehicle is turned off and keys are removed from the ignition.
2. Access the Fuse Box
  • Open the driver’s side door.
  • Remove the panel cover located under the dashboard to access the interior fuse box. (Note: The cover may have clips or screws.)
  • For the engine compartment, release the clips or screws holding the fuse box cover and remove it.
3. Inspect Fuses
  • Refer to the fuse diagram located on the fuse box cover or in the owner’s manual to locate the specific fuse.
  • Use the fuse puller or needle-nose pliers to carefully remove the fuse from its slot.
  • Visually inspect the fuse; if the metal strip inside is broken, the fuse is blown and must be replaced.
4. Testing the Fuse
  • If the fuse appears intact, set the multimeter to continuity mode.
  • Place one probe on each end of the fuse terminals.
  • If the multimeter beeps or shows continuity, the fuse is good. If not, replace it.
5. Replace the Fuse
  • If a blown fuse is identified, replace it with a new fuse of the same amperage rating (found on the fuse itself or in the fuse diagram).
  • Reinsert the fuse back into its original slot firmly until it clicks into place.
6. Reassemble
  • Replace the fuse box cover securely and ensure all clips or screws are tightened.
  • Close the dashboard panel and ensure it is properly seated.
