Solution
1. Preparation
  • Tools Required: Screwdriver set, OBD-II scanner, flashlight, vacuum cleaner or compressed air, cleaning cloth.
  • Ensure the vehicle is parked on a flat surface and the engine is cool.
2. Inspect and Secure Air Intake Hoses
  • Locate the air intake duct and inspect it for any signs of wear or damage.
  • Tighten any loose clamps and replace damaged hoses as necessary.
  • If a hose is damaged, remove it using a screwdriver and replace it with a new one.
3. Clean the Air Filter
  • Remove the air filter housing cover using a screwdriver.
  • Take out the air filter; if it is dirty, clean it with a vacuum or replace it with a new one.
  • Reinstall the air filter and secure the housing cover.
4. Clean the Throttle Body
  • Remove the intake duct connected to the throttle body.
  • Use throttle body cleaner and a cleaning cloth to clean the inside of the throttle body.
  • Move the throttle plate gently while cleaning to ensure all surfaces are cleaned.
  • Reattach the intake duct securely.
5. Test Drive the Vehicle
  • Start the engine and allow it to idle for a few minutes.
  • Take the vehicle for a test drive to confirm that the whistling noise has been resolved.
