2. Replace Key Fob Battery
  1. Open the Key Fob:

    • Using a small flathead screwdriver, gently pry open the key fob casing at the seam.

  2. Remove Old Battery:

    • Note the orientation of the old battery (positive side facing up or down).
    • Remove the old battery and dispose of it properly.
  3. Install New Battery:

    • Insert the new battery (CR2032) in the same orientation as the old one.
    • Ensure it fits snugly in the battery compartment.

    • Carefully snap the two halves of the key fob back together until they click.
    • Confirm that there are no gaps between the two halves.
3. Reprogram Key Fob (if necessary)

  2. Program the Key Fob:

    • Press and hold the "LOCK" button on the key fob for 5 seconds.
    • Turn the ignition back to "ON" and then to "OFF" to exit programming mode.
  3. Test Key Fob Functionality:

    • Attempt to lock and unlock the doors using the key fob.
