Solution
1. Preparation
  • Gather necessary items: vehicle key and ensure the car is in a safe and secure location.
  • Sit in the driver's seat and close all doors.
2. Ignition Position
  • Turn the ignition key to the "ON" position without starting the engine. This is the second position where the dashboard lights up.
3. Display Odometer
  • Check the instrument panel to ensure the odometer is displayed. If it shows "Trip A," press and hold the trip reset button until it displays the odometer reading.
4. Power Off
  • Turn the ignition off completely while keeping the trip reset button pressed down.
5. Reset Maintenance Light
  • While still holding the trip reset button, turn the ignition back to the "ON" position without starting the vehicle.
  • Continue to hold the trip reset button until the maintenance light on the dashboard turns off and the odometer reading flashes.
6. Confirm Reset
  • Release the trip reset button and check that the maintenance light is no longer illuminated.
