Solution
1. Preparation
  • Gather tools and materials: new wiper blades, a flathead screwdriver (if needed), and a clean cloth.
  • Park the vehicle on a flat surface and turn off the ignition.
2. Lift Wiper Arms
  • Carefully lift the wiper arms away from the windshield until they are in a vertical position.
  • Ensure that the arms are securely held in place to prevent them from snapping back down.
3. Remove Old Wiper Blades
  • Locate the release tab on the wiper blade where it connects to the wiper arm.
  • Press the release tab and slide the wiper blade downwards off the wiper arm.
  • If necessary, use a flathead screwdriver to gently pry off the old blade.
4. Install New Wiper Blades
  • Take the new wiper blade and align it with the wiper arm.
  • Slide the wiper blade onto the arm until you hear a click, indicating it is securely locked in place.
  • Repeat this process for the other wiper blade.
5. Lower Wiper Arms
  • Gently lower the wiper arms back onto the windshield.
  • Ensure they are correctly positioned and not touching the glass at an angle.
6. Test Wipers
  • Start the vehicle and activate the wipers to ensure they function smoothly and make proper contact with the windshield.
