1. Preparation
  • Tools Required: Flathead screwdriver (if needed), new cabin air filter.
  • Ensure the vehicle is parked on a flat surface and the ignition is off.
2. Access the Cabin Air Filter
  • Open the glove compartment and remove any items inside.
  • Squeeze the sides of the glove compartment to release the stops and lower it down.
  • If applicable, remove any screws or fasteners securing the filter cover using a flathead screwdriver.
3. Remove the Old Cabin Air Filter
  • Locate the cabin air filter cover and gently pull it off.
  • Carefully slide out the old cabin air filter, noting its orientation for the installation of the new filter.
4. Install the New Cabin Air Filter
  • Take the new cabin air filter and ensure it is oriented in the same direction as the old filter (usually indicated by arrows on the filter).
  • Slide the new filter into the housing until it is fully seated.
5. Reassemble the Cabin Filter Area
