Solution
1. Preparation

2. Replace Air Filter

3. Clean Throttle Body
  • Remove the throttle body from the intake manifold (ensure to label any connectors).
  • Use throttle body cleaner and a soft brush to clean the inside of the throttle body.
  • Wipe the gasket surface clean, then reinstall the throttle body.
  • Torque the throttle body bolts to the manufacturer’s specifications.
4. Replace Spark Plugs
  • Remove the ignition coil assembly by unscrewing the bolts and disconnecting the electrical connectors.
