Solution
1. Preparation
  • Ensure the engine is completely cool.
  • Gather necessary tools: a clean funnel (if adding coolant), and a flashlight for better visibility.
2. Inspect Coolant Reservoir
  • Locate the coolant reservoir on the passenger side of the engine bay.
  • Visually check the coolant level through the transparent reservoir. The level should be between the MIN and MAX marks.
  • If the level is below the MIN mark, proceed to add coolant.
3. Adding Coolant (if necessary)
  • Tools Required: Funnel
  • If the coolant is low, remove the cap of the coolant reservoir.
  • Using the funnel, carefully pour the appropriate coolant mixture (usually a 50/50 mix of distilled water and ethylene glycol-based coolant) into the reservoir until it reaches the MAX mark.
  • Replace the cap securely to prevent leaks.
4. Check for Leaks
  • After adding coolant, inspect the area around the reservoir and under the vehicle for any signs of leaks.
  • Start the engine and let it idle for a few minutes while monitoring the coolant level and checking for leaks.
