1. Preparation
  • Gather Tools:
    • Replacement battery (if needed: CR2032)
    • Flathead screwdriver (for battery replacement)

2. Replace Key Fob Battery (if necessary)
  1. Use a flathead screwdriver to carefully pry open the key fob casing.
  2. Remove the old battery and replace it with a new CR2032 battery, ensuring the positive (+) side is facing up.
  3. Snap the fob back together securely.
3. Reprogram Key Fob
  1. Enter Programming Mode:
    • Sit in the driver's seat with all doors closed.
    • Insert the key into the ignition and turn to the "ON" position (do not start the engine).
    • Turn the key back to "OFF" and remove it from the ignition.
  2. Initiate Programming:
    • Within 5 seconds, insert the key back into the ignition and turn to "ON" position again.
    • Turn the key back to "OFF" and remove it.
    • Repeat this step a total of 3 times (ON, OFF, remove). On the third time, leave it in the "ON" position.
