Solution
1. Preparation
  • Gather necessary tools and materials.
  • Tools Required:
    • Screwdriver (Phillips or flat-head depending on screws)
    • Gloves (to prevent oil from fingers contaminating the bulb)
  • Safety Warnings:
    • Ensure the vehicle is turned off and keys are removed from the ignition.
2. Access Tail Light Assembly
  • Open the trunk of the vehicle.
  • Locate the access panel for the tail light assembly on the interior side of the trunk.
  • Remove any screws or fasteners securing the access panel using the screwdriver.
  • Carefully remove the access panel to expose the tail light assembly.
3. Remove the Blown Bulb
  • Identify the tail light bulb socket and twist it counterclockwise to remove it from the assembly.
  • Carefully pull the old bulb straight out of the socket. If it is stuck, wiggle it gently while pulling.
4. Install the New Bulb
  • Insert the new bulb into the socket. Ensure it is seated properly.
  • Reinsert the bulb socket into the tail light assembly and twist it clockwise to secure it in place.
5. Reassemble and Test
  • Replace the access panel and secure it with screws or fasteners.
  • Turn on the vehicle and check if the new tail light bulb is functioning properly.
