Solution
1. Preparation
  • Gather tools and parts.
  • Ensure the vehicle is parked on a level surface and the ignition is off.
  • Disconnect the battery negative terminal to prevent electrical shorts.
2. Replace Fog Light Bulbs
  1. Access the fog light assembly by removing the underbody cover if applicable.
  2. Remove the fog light housing by unscrewing the retaining screws.
  3. Disconnect the wiring harness from the fog light bulb.
  4. Twist the old bulb counterclockwise and pull it out.
  5. Insert the new bulb into the socket and twist it clockwise to secure.
  6. Reconnect the wiring harness and reassemble the fog light housing.
  7. Reattach any underbody covers that were removed.
3. Check and Replace the Fog Light Fuse
  1. Locate the fuse box under the dashboard or in the engine compartment.
  2. Identify the fog light fuse using the fuse diagram on the cover.
  3. Use a fuse puller or pliers to remove the fog light fuse.
  4. Inspect the fuse for a broken filament; replace it with a new fuse of the same amperage if necessary.
  5. Reinstall the fuse back into the fuse box securely.
4. Inspect and Replace the Fog Light Relay
  1. Locate the relay box, typically found in the engine compartment.
  2. Identify the fog light relay using the diagram on the relay box cover.
  3. Remove the relay by pulling it straight out.
  4. Test the relay with a multimeter or replace it with a new relay.
  5. Reinstall the relay back into the relay box.
