Solution
1. Preparation
  • Gather all necessary tools and parts.
  • Disconnect the negative battery terminal to prevent electrical shorts.

2. Clean the Throttle Body
  • Tools Required: Throttle body cleaner, soft cloth, and socket set.
  • Remove the air intake duct to access the throttle body.
  • Spray throttle body cleaner onto a soft cloth and wipe the inside of the throttle body to remove carbon deposits.
  • Open the throttle plate manually to clean both sides.
  • Reinstall the air intake duct and reconnect any sensors.
3. Replace the IAC Valve (if necessary)

  • Locate the IAC valve, typically found on the throttle body or intake manifold.
  • Disconnect the electrical connector and any hoses attached to the IAC valve.
