Solution
1. Preparation
  • Gather tools and parts:
    • Tools: Socket set, flathead screwdriver, gloves
    • Parts: Replacement headlight bulb (specific to model)
  • Ensure the vehicle is turned off and parked on a flat surface.
2. Access the Headlight Assembly
  • Open the hood and secure it with the prop rod.
  • Locate the back of the headlight assembly.
  • If necessary, remove any covers or panels obstructing access to the headlight bulb.
3. Remove the Old Headlight Bulb
  • Disconnect the electrical connector from the headlight bulb by pressing the locking tab and pulling it away.
  • Rotate the bulb socket counterclockwise to release it from the headlight assembly.
  • Carefully pull the bulb out of the socket, avoiding contact with the glass.
4. Install the New Headlight Bulb
  • Take the new headlight bulb out of its packaging, handling it by the base to avoid oil contamination on the glass.
  • Insert the new bulb into the bulb socket and rotate it clockwise to secure it in place.
  • Reconnect the electrical connector to the new bulb, ensuring it clicks into place.
5. Reassemble and Test
  • If any covers or panels were removed, reinstall them securely.
  • Close the hood of the vehicle.
  • Start the vehicle and turn on the headlights to verify proper operation.
