1. Preparation

• Ensure the vehicle is parked on a level surface and the engine is cool.
• Gather necessary tools and parts.
• Disconnect the battery to avoid electrical issues during repairs.

2. Inspect and Refill Coolant

• Remove the radiator cap.
• Check the coolant level; if low, refill with the appropriate type of coolant (Toyota Genuine Long Life Coolant or equivalent).
• Replace the radiator cap securely.

3. Repair or Replace Leaking Components

• If leaks are found:
  • Hoses: Loosen hose clamps using a socket set and remove the damaged hose. Replace with a new hose and secure clamps.
  • Radiator: If the radiator is leaking, disconnect it by removing the mounting bolts. Replace with a new radiator and reconnect the hoses.
  • Water Pump: If the pump is leaking, drain coolant, remove the pump by detaching the mounting bolts, and replace with a new water pump. Refill with coolant afterward.

4. Thermostat Inspection

• Locate the thermostat housing.
• Remove the housing bolts with a socket set and take out the thermostat.
