my Toyota Camry Eighth Generation (2018-present) has a check engine light for P0011

Solution

1. Preparation

• Gather tools and parts needed for the repair.
• Disconnect the battery to ensure safety while working on electrical components.

2. Change Engine Oil and Filter

1. Lift the vehicle using a jack and secure it with jack stands.
2. Place an oil drain pan under the oil pan and remove the drain plug to drain the old oil.
3. Replace the oil filter using an oil filter wrench.
4. Reinstall the drain plug and refill the engine with the manufacturer-recommended oil type and quantity.

3. Inspect and Replace VVT Solenoid

1. Locate the VVT solenoid, typically found on the engine's cylinder head.
2. Disconnect the electrical connector from the solenoid.
3. Remove the mounting bolts using a socket set and carefully take out the solenoid.
