1. Preparation
  • Tools Required: Socket set, torque wrench, jack and jack stands, strut spring compressor, flathead screwdriver, pliers.
  • Park the vehicle on a flat surface and set the parking brake.
  • Disconnect the battery to avoid any electrical shorts.
2. Remove the Strut Assembly
  1. Lift the Vehicle:

    • Use a jack to lift the front or rear of the vehicle, depending on which strut is being serviced.
    • Secure with jack stands for safety.
  2. Remove the Wheel:

    • Use a socket set to remove the lug nuts and take off the wheel.
  3. Disconnect the Strut:

    • Remove any clips or bolts securing the brake line and ABS sensor wire to the strut.
    • Unbolt the strut from the steering knuckle using a socket set.
  4. Unbolt the Strut from the Vehicle:
