Solution
1. Preparation
  • Tools Required: Clean funnel, paper towels.
  • Park the vehicle on a level surface and turn off the engine. Allow the vehicle to cool if it has been running.
2. Locate the Power Steering Fluid Reservoir
  • Open the hood and secure it.
  • Locate the power steering fluid reservoir, which is typically near the engine, often on the driver’s side.
3. Check Fluid Level
  • Remove the reservoir cap and wipe the dipstick clean (if applicable).
  • Reinsert the dipstick/ cap and remove it again to check the fluid level against the markings.
  • If the fluid is at or below the minimum mark, proceed to fill the fluid.
4. Fill Power Steering Fluid
  • Using a clean funnel, pour the recommended power steering fluid into the reservoir slowly.
  • Fill until the fluid reaches the maximum mark, being careful not to overfill.
  • Replace the reservoir cap securely.
5. Clean Up
  • Wipe any spilled fluid with paper towels.
  • Close the hood securely.
