Solution
1. Preparation
  • Gather necessary tools and parts.
  • Park the vehicle on a level surface and engage the parking brake.

2. Wheel Removal
  • Tools Required: Jack, jack stands, lug wrench
  • Loosen the lug nuts slightly while the vehicle is on the ground.
  • Lift the vehicle with the jack and secure it with jack stands.
  • Remove the lug nuts completely and take off the wheels.
3. Inspect and Replace Brake Components
  • Tools Required: Torque wrench, socket set
  • Remove the caliper bolts and carefully lift the caliper away from the rotor. Support it with a bungee cord or similar device to avoid stressing the brake line.
  • Inspect the brake pads for wear; replace them if they are worn down to the indicator.
  • Check the rotors for warping or scoring. If warped (more than 0.002 inches), replace or resurface the rotors.
