1. Preparation
  • Gather tools: None required for this procedure.
  • Ensure the vehicle is parked in a safe location.
  • Have the new or working key fob ready.
2. Enter Programming Mode
  1. Insert Key: Insert the key into the ignition and turn it to the "On" position (do not start the engine).
  2. Turn Off and On: Turn the ignition off and then back to the "On" position five times within 10 seconds. The doors should automatically lock and unlock, indicating that the vehicle is in programming mode.
3. Program the Key Fob
