Solution
1. Preparation
  • Gather necessary tools and parts.
  • Park the vehicle on a flat surface and turn off the engine.
  • Open the hood and secure it with the prop rod.

Tools Required:

  • Gloves (to prevent oil from your hands contaminating the bulb)
  • Screwdriver (flathead or Phillips depending on headlight assembly)
  • Replacement headlight bulbs (check owner's manual for specifications)
2. Remove the Headlight Bulb
  1. Access the Headlight Assembly:

    • Locate the headlight assembly at the front of the vehicle.
    • If necessary, remove any covers or panels obstructing access.
  2. Detach the Electrical Connector:

    • Gently pull the electrical connector off the rear of the headlight bulb. Be careful not to tug on the wires.
  3. Remove the Bulb:

    • Depending on the design, either twist the bulb counterclockwise or unclip the retaining clips to release the bulb from the socket.
    • Carefully pull out the old bulb.
3. Install the New Bulb
  1. Insert the New Bulb:

    • Take the new bulb and insert it into the socket. Ensure it is seated properly.
    • Twist the bulb clockwise or secure it with the retaining clips as necessary.
  2. Reconnect the Electrical Connector:

    • Push the electrical connector back onto the bulb until it clicks into place.
4. Test the Headlight
  • Before closing the hood, turn on the vehicle and test the new headlight to ensure it is functioning correctly.
5. Reassemble and Clean Up
  • If any covers or panels were removed, reattach them securely.
  • Dispose of the old bulb properly.
