1. Preparation

2. Remove the Wheel
  1. Loosen the lug nuts on the front wheel using a socket.
  2. Lift the vehicle with a jack and secure it with jack stands.
  3. Remove the lug nuts and take off the wheel.
3. Remove the Strut Assembly
  1. Disconnect the brake line bracket from the strut if present.
  2. Remove the nut securing the strut to the steering knuckle using a socket.
  3. Remove the top strut mounting nuts located under the hood, ensuring you have access to the strut tower.
  4. Carefully pull the strut assembly out from the wheel well.
4. Disassemble the Strut
  1. Place the strut assembly in a strut spring compressor.
  2. Compress the spring carefully until tension is released on the top strut mount.
  3. Remove the top nut and carefully take off the strut mount and spring.
5. Replace the Strut
