• Locate the access panel for the fuel sender unit, usually under the rear seat or in the trunk.
• Remove the access panel using a screwdriver.
• Disconnect the fuel lines using the fuel line disconnect tool, taking care to have a rag ready for spills.
• Remove the retaining ring of the fuel sender unit using a hammer and a punch or a specialized tool.
• Carefully lift out the fuel sender unit from the tank.

3. Inspect and Test Fuel Sender Unit

• Check the float arm for any signs of damage or sticking.
• Use a multimeter to measure the resistance of the fuel sender unit:
