Solution
1. Preparation
  • Gather tools: Multimeter, socket set, wrenches, battery terminal cleaner, and protective gloves.
  • Ensure the vehicle is parked safely with the ignition off.
2. Inspect and Test the 12V Battery
  • Remove the Frunk Liner:

    • Use the socket set to remove screws securing the frunk liner.
    • Carefully lift the liner to access the 12V battery.
  • Check Battery Connections:

    • Inspect the positive (+) and negative (-) terminals for tightness and corrosion.
    • If corroded, use a battery terminal cleaner to clean the connections.
  • Measure Battery Voltage:

    • Connect the multimeter to the battery terminals (red to positive, black to negative).
    • If the voltage is below 12.4 volts, proceed to battery replacement.
3. Replace the 12V Battery (if necessary)
  • Remove Old Battery:

    • Disconnect the negative (-) terminal first, followed by the positive (+) terminal.
    • Unscrew any retaining brackets and carefully lift the battery out.
  • Install New Battery:

    • Place the new 12V battery in the battery compartment.
    • Reconnect the positive (+) terminal first, then the negative (-) terminal.
    • Secure the battery with the retaining brackets.
4. Reassemble and Test
  • Reattach the frunk liner and secure with screws.
  • Attempt to start the vehicle to verify functionality.
