Solution
1. Preparation
  • Ensure the vehicle is in park and on a flat surface.
  • Check that the vehicle's battery level is adequate (at least 20% charge recommended).
2. Soft Reset Infotainment System
  1. Press and hold both scroll wheels on the steering wheel until the screen goes black (approximately 10 seconds).
  2. Release the scroll wheels once the Tesla logo appears on the screen.
  3. Wait for the system to reboot; this may take up to 2 minutes.
3. Hard Reset (if soft reset does not resolve the issue)
  1. Locate the main battery disconnect switch if applicable (usually found under the front trunk).
  2. Disconnect the 12V battery for about 30 seconds.
  3. Reconnect the battery and ensure all connections are tight.
  4. Power on the vehicle and check if the infotainment system functions properly.
