Solution
1. Preparation
  • Gather necessary tools and parts.
  • Park the vehicle on a level surface and ensure the engine is cool.
  • Disconnect the 12V battery to prevent electrical shorts.
2. Check and Top Off Engine Oil
  • Tools Required: Oil catch pan, funnel, new oil (refer to owner's manual for specifications).
  • Remove the oil fill cap and use a funnel to add oil if low.
  • Start the engine and run for a few minutes, then recheck the oil level and top off as needed.
3. Replace Oil Filter
  • Tools Required: Oil filter wrench, socket set.
  • Locate the oil filter and use the oil filter wrench to remove it.
  • Apply a thin layer of new oil to the rubber gasket of the new oil filter, then install it by hand until snug.
  • Tighten it to the manufacturer's specification using a torque wrench.
4. Change Engine Oil
  • Tools Required: Socket set, oil catch pan, funnel.
  • Place the oil catch pan under the oil pan and remove the drain plug using a socket.
  • Allow the old oil to completely drain out.
  • Replace the drain plug and tighten to the specified torque.
  • Pour the new oil through the funnel into the oil fill cap.
5. Test Oil Pressure
  • Tools Required: External oil pressure gauge.
  • Remove the oil pressure sending unit and install the oil pressure gauge.
  • Start the vehicle and monitor the oil pressure reading.
  • If the pressure is still low, further investigation into the oil pump or engine internals may be necessary.
