Solution
1. Preparation
  • Tools Required: Multimeter, socket set, OBD-II scanner, torque wrench.
  • Safety Warnings: Disconnect the 12V battery before working on electrical systems to prevent shocks or short circuits.
2. Replace 12V Battery
  1. Remove the Frunk Liner:

    • Unscrew the fasteners securing the frunk liner.
    • Gently pull the liner away to expose the battery.
  2. Disconnect the Battery:

    • Use a socket set to remove the negative terminal first, followed by the positive terminal.
    • Ensure no metal tools bridge the terminals.
  3. Remove the Old Battery:

    • Loosen the battery hold-down bracket using the socket set.
    • Carefully lift the battery out, ensuring not to damage any surrounding components.
  4. Install the New Battery:

    • Place the new 12V battery in the bracket and secure it with the hold-down.
    • Connect the positive terminal first, followed by the negative terminal.
  5. Reinstall the Frunk Liner:

    • Replace the frunk liner and secure it with the fasteners removed earlier.
3. Charge High-Voltage Battery (if needed)
  • If the vehicle battery is low, connect the vehicle to a Level 2 charger and allow it to charge for at least 30 minutes before attempting to start again.
