Solution
1. Preparation
  • Ensure the vehicle is parked safely and in a well-ventilated area.
  • Disconnect the negative terminal of the 12V battery to prevent electrical shock.
  • Tools required: Socket set.
2. Inspect and Secure Connections
  • Remove the dashboard cover using a trim removal tool.
  • Check all connectors and wiring harnesses behind the dashboard display for any loose or damaged connections.
  • Re-seat any loose connectors and repair or replace damaged wiring as necessary.
3. Replace 12V Battery (if necessary)
  • If the 12V battery voltage is below the normal range, remove the old battery:
    • Disconnect the negative terminal, followed by the positive terminal.
    • Remove any mounting hardware securing the battery.
  • Install the new 12V battery:
    • Position the new battery and secure it with the mounting hardware.
    • Connect the positive terminal first, followed by the negative terminal.
4. Reassemble and Test
  • Reattach the dashboard cover securely.
  • Reconnect the negative terminal of the 12V battery.
  • Power on the vehicle and check if the dashboard display functions properly.
