1. Preparation

• Gather necessary tools and parts.
• Ensure the vehicle is parked on a level surface and engage the parking brake.
• Wear safety goggles and gloves for protection.

2. Check and Replenish Brake Fluid

• Open the hood and locate the brake fluid reservoir.
• If the fluid is low, remove the cap and add the appropriate type of brake fluid (DOT 3 or DOT 4 as specified in the owner’s manual).
• Close the cap securely.

3. Inspect and Repair Brake Lines

• Visually inspect all brake lines for signs of wear, cracking, or leaks.
• If leaks are found, replace the damaged brake lines with OEM parts.
• Ensure all connections are tight and free of corrosion.

4. Bleed the Brake System

• Attach a clear plastic hose to the bleeder valve on the brake caliper.
• Open the valve and have an assistant press the brake pedal several times until fluid flows without air bubbles.
• Close the valve and repeat for each wheel, starting from the wheel farthest from the master cylinder.
