Solution
1. Preparation
  • Gather necessary tools and materials.
  • Park the vehicle on a flat, level surface about 25 feet from a wall.
  • Tools Required:
    • Phillips screwdriver
    • Flathead screwdriver
    • Torque wrench
    • Level
2. Clean Headlight Lenses
  • Use a soft cloth and headlight cleaner to remove any dirt or grime from the lens.
  • If there is moisture inside the lens, allow it to dry completely before proceeding.
3. Check and Replace Bulbs (if necessary)
  • Open the front trunk and locate the headlight assembly.
  • Remove the cover by turning it counterclockwise.
  • Disconnect the power connector from the bulb.
  • Replace the bulb with a new one if it appears burnt or damaged.
  • Reattach the power connector and cover.
4. Adjust Headlight Alignment
  • Use the level to check if the vehicle is level.
  • Locate the adjustment screws on the headlight assembly (usually found at the top or side).
  • To raise the beam, turn the screw clockwise; to lower it, turn it counterclockwise.
  • Adjust until the top of the beam is at eye level or slightly below when aimed at the wall.
5. Verify Adjustment
  • After adjustment, turn on the headlights and recheck beam height against the wall.
  • Ensure the light pattern is even and not blinding to oncoming traffic.
