Solution
1. Preparation
  • Ensure the vehicle is parked in a safe, level area.
  • Disconnect the vehicle from any external power source if applicable.
  • Gather tools: OBD-II scanner (if needed), flathead screwdriver, socket set.
2. Software Update
  • Connect to Wi-Fi and navigate to the software update section in the settings.
  • Follow on-screen instructions to download and install any available updates.
  • Restart the vehicle to complete the update process.
3. Check and Replace Cabin Air Filter
  • Tools Required: Flathead screwdriver, replacement cabin air filter.
  • Sub-steps:
    1. Open the glove compartment and remove any contents.
    2. Locate the stops on both sides of the glove compartment and push them inward to fully drop the compartment.
    3. Remove the cover of the cabin air filter by unclipping it.
    4. Take out the old cabin air filter and inspect it for dirt and debris.
    5. Insert the new cabin air filter, ensuring it is oriented correctly as per the airflow direction indicated.
    6. Reattach the cover and reassemble the glove compartment.
4. Inspect and Test the Blower Motor
  • Tools Required: Multimeter.
  • Sub-steps:
    1. Access the blower motor by removing any necessary panels under the dashboard.
    2. Disconnect the blower motor connector.
    3. Use a multimeter to check for voltage at the blower motor connector while the climate control is set to high.
    4. If voltage is present but the motor does not operate, replace the blower motor.
    5. If no voltage is detected, further investigate wiring and control modules.
5. HVAC System Reset
  • Sub-steps:
    1. Perform a soft reset of the vehicle by holding down both scroll wheels on the steering wheel until the screen turns black and reboots.
    2. After the reboot, check the climate control functionality again.
