Solution
1. Preparation
  • Ensure the vehicle is parked and powered on.
  • Confirm that the vehicle is not in motion to avoid any safety hazards.
2. Perform a Soft Reset
  1. Locate the two scroll wheels on the steering wheel.
  2. Press and hold both scroll wheels simultaneously for about 10-15 seconds.
  3. Wait for the screen to go black and then display the Tesla logo.
3. Perform a Hard Reset (if soft reset fails)
  1. Disconnect the vehicle from the charger, if applicable.
  2. Open the front trunk (frunk) and locate the 12V battery.
  3. Carefully disconnect the negative terminal of the 12V battery using a socket set.
  4. Wait for approximately 1-2 minutes to allow the system to fully power down.
  5. Reconnect the negative terminal and ensure it is securely tightened.
