Solution
1. Preparation
  • Gather necessary tools: flathead screwdriver, new cabin air filter.
  • Ensure the vehicle is parked on a level surface and turned off.
  • Open the front trunk to access the cabin air filter compartment.
2. Remove Glove Box
  1. Locate the glove box and open it fully.
  2. Use a flathead screwdriver to remove the two screws securing the hinge of the glove box.
  3. Disconnect the dampening strap from the glove box.
  4. Gently pull on the glove box to release it from its securing tabs and set it aside.
3. Access Cabin Air Filter Compartment
  1. Locate the cabin air filter cover behind the glove box area.
  2. Remove the cover by releasing the clips or screws as required.
  3. Carefully pull the old cabin air filter out from its slot.
4. Install New Cabin Air Filter
