Solution
1. Preparation
  • Tools Required: No special tools are needed, but a clean workspace is recommended.
  • Safety Warnings: Ensure the vehicle is powered off before beginning the replacement.
2. Open Glove Box
  • Locate the glove box release tabs on both sides.
  • Gently squeeze the sides of the glove box to release the tabs and lower the glove box completely.
3. Remove the Cabin Air Filter Cover
  • Locate the cabin air filter cover, which is found behind the glove box.
  • Release the clips or screws securing the cover (if applicable) and carefully remove it to expose the cabin air filter.
4. Remove Old Cabin Air Filter
  • Pull the old cabin air filter straight out of its housing. Note the orientation of the filter for proper installation of the new one.

  • Slide the new filter into the housing until it is fully seated.
6. Reassemble Glove Box

  • Lift the glove box back into position and press the sides to re-engage the release tabs.
