Solution
1. Preparation
  • Tools Required: None required for fluid level check.
  • Safety Warnings: Ensure the vehicle is parked on a level surface.
2. Check Windshield Washer Fluid
  • Locate the windshield washer fluid reservoir under the hood.
  • Remove the cap and visually inspect the fluid level.
  • If low, fill with the appropriate windshield washer fluid until it reaches the indicated level.
3. Check Brake Fluid Level
  • Locate the brake fluid reservoir, typically near the back of the engine bay on the driver's side.
  • Remove the cap and check the fluid level against the markings on the side of the reservoir.
  • If the fluid is low, add brake fluid that meets Tesla specifications (DOT 3 or DOT 4) until the correct level is reached.
4. Check Coolant Level
  • Locate the coolant reservoir, usually a translucent tank with minimum and maximum markings.
  • Ensure the vehicle is cool, then check the coolant level.
  • If the coolant is below the minimum line, add a mixture of Tesla-approved coolant and distilled water to the appropriate level.
