Solution
1. Preparation
  • Gather necessary tools: flashlight (if needed for visibility).
  • Ensure the vehicle is completely cooled down before proceeding.
2. Inspect Coolant Reservoir
  • Open the front trunk (frunk) by pulling the release latch located inside the cabin.
  • Locate the coolant reservoir on the passenger side of the frunk, usually near the front firewall.
  • Use a flashlight if visibility is poor to clearly see the level.
3. Evaluate Coolant Level
  • Check the coolant level against the minimum and maximum marks on the reservoir.
  • If the coolant level is below the minimum mark, proceed to add coolant.
4. Add Coolant (if necessary)
  • Obtain the recommended coolant type as specified in the Tesla owner's manual (usually a propylene glycol-based coolant).
  • Remove the cap from the coolant reservoir carefully.
  • Using a funnel, slowly add coolant until it reaches the maximum mark.
  • Replace the cap securely.
