Solution
1. Preparation
  • Gather tools and parts needed for the repair.
  • Ensure the vehicle is parked in a safe area with adequate lighting.
  • Disconnect the high-voltage battery for safety.
2. Inspect and Clean Battery Connections
  • Using a socket set, remove the negative (-) battery terminal followed by the positive (+) terminal.
  • Clean any corrosion from the terminals using a wire brush or terminal cleaner.
  • Reconnect the battery terminals, starting with the positive (+) terminal followed by the negative (-) terminal. Ensure they are tight and secure.
3. Replace the 12V Battery (if necessary)
  • If the battery voltage is low or the battery health is poor, consider replacing the 12V battery.
  • Remove the battery hold-down clamp with a socket set.
  • Carefully lift out the old battery and place the new battery in the same orientation.
  • Reinstall the hold-down clamp and reconnect the battery terminals as mentioned above.
4. Update Software
  • Connect the vehicle to Wi-Fi and check for any available software updates.
  • Follow the on-screen instructions to complete the update process.
