Solution
1. Preparation
  • Gather all necessary tools and parts.
  • Ensure the vehicle is parked on a level surface and engage the parking brake.
  • Wear safety glasses and gloves.
2. Raise the Vehicle
  • Use a hydraulic jack to lift the vehicle at the designated lift points.
  • Secure the vehicle with jack stands for safety.
3. Remove the Wheel
  • Use a socket set to remove the lug nuts and take off the wheel to access the strut assembly.
4. Remove the Strut Assembly
  • Upper Mount Bolts: Locate and remove the upper strut mount bolts using a ratchet and socket.
  • Lower Mount Bolts: Remove the lower bolts securing the strut to the knuckle using the appropriate socket.
  • Carefully disconnect any electrical connectors or brake line brackets attached to the strut.
  • Gently pull the strut assembly out of its mount.
