Solution
1. Preparation
  • Gather tools and materials.
  • Park the vehicle on a level surface and engage the parking brake.
  • Safely lift the vehicle using a jack and secure it with jack stands.
2. Inspect Struts
  • Remove the front or rear wheel (depending on which struts are being checked).
  • Visually inspect the struts for any signs of oil leakage or physical damage.
  • Check the strut mounts for cracks or deterioration.
3. Replace Struts (if necessary)
  • 3.1. Remove Old Struts

    • Disconnect the sway bar link from the strut.
    • Remove the bolts securing the strut to the steering knuckle and the upper strut mount.
    • Carefully slide the strut out of its mount.
  • 3.2. Install New Struts

    • Position the new strut into place and attach it to the upper mount and steering knuckle.
    • Reconnect the sway bar link to the strut.
  • 3.3. Reassemble and Lower Vehicle

    • Reinstall the wheel and lower the vehicle from the jack stands.
    • Torque all bolts to manufacturer specifications (consult the service manual for torque values).
