Solution
1. Preparation
  • Gather necessary tools and parts.
  • Ensure the vehicle is parked on a level surface with the ignition turned off.
  • Disconnect the negative battery terminal to prevent electrical shock.
2. Inspect and Replace Tail Light Bulbs
  • Remove the tail light assembly by unscrewing the retaining screws.
  • Disconnect the wiring harness from the tail light assembly.
  • Remove the old bulbs by twisting them counterclockwise and replace with new bulbs.
  • Reconnect the wiring harness and reinstall the tail light assembly.
3. Check and Replace Tail Light Fuse
  • Locate the fuse box, typically found under the dashboard or in the engine compartment.
  • Identify the tail light fuse using the diagram on the fuse box cover.
  • Pull the fuse out using a fuse puller and inspect it for continuity. Replace if blown with a fuse of the same amperage.
  • Reinstall the fuse and close the fuse box.
4. Inspect Wiring and Connections
  • Visually inspect the wiring harness connected to the tail lights for any signs of damage or corrosion.
  • Use a multimeter to test for voltage at the tail light connector when the headlights are activated.
  • Repair or replace any damaged wiring or connectors as necessary.
